What to expect

A Taste of Conservation

Spend a full or half day making a difference! Join our team for hands-on conservation work, learn about marine life from local experts, and meet community members working to protect Watamu’s coastline. It’s a powerful glimpse into the heart of ocean conservation.

Dive Into Action

In two weeks, you’ll become part of our conservation crew. Patrol turtle nesting beaches, help restore mangroves, and assist with community eco-education. You’ll build connections with local residents and see firsthand how small actions create lasting impact.

Immersive Conservation Experience

A month with Bahari Hai means deeper engagement. You’ll contribute to marine research, lead school workshops, and support sustainable fishing initiatives. Living alongside coastal communities, you’ll gain a rich understanding of the challenges and triumphs of ocean conservation.

Delve into the Depths of Conservation

For extended stays, you’ll evolve from volunteer to changemaker. Take on leadership roles in fieldwork, mentor new volunteers, and co-develop community projects. You’ll leave with advanced conservation skills, lifelong friendships, and a profound connection to Kenya’s marine ecosystems
