Work we do
Bahari Hai works in many different ways to help our ocean and marine ecosystems.
We work with local stakeholders and partners; fishing communities; community groups and the private sector to address the complex challenges faced by the marine environment.
As a grass-roots conservation organization, we help directly with nature conservation. Getting our feet wet on the ground. We have our core programmes: Sea Turtle Conservation; Anti-poaching; Community Development & Outreach; Education & Outreach. Within these programmes we have ongoing projects as well as once-off projects that address specific challenges that arise at a particular moment.
communities are the heart of our work
Whatever we do, we always work with communities. We deeply understand that although people are often the problem, they are also the solution.
